Program Description
Students will become familiar with Chinese greetings and courtesies; exploring the diversity of cultural celebrations and the commonalities of love of family and friends.

Chinese, whether in traditional classroom settings, through interactive distance learning (IDL) or other distance learning platforms, in after-school and summer programs, or as a part of introductory would language sessions.• By 2016, Mandarin Chinese should be one of the three most-taught languages in Kansas schools, measured both by the number of students enrolled and by the number of schools offering the language.
