Royal Tyrrell Museum Distance Learning - Fall 2009 Update!

The 2009/2010 school year is now underway, and the Royal Tyrrell Museum Distance Learning team is revving up for another 10 months of dino-sized fun and excitement. Registration is now open, and we look forward to connecting with students in Alberta, Canada, the United States and beyond!

The Royal Tyrrell Museum, Canada's largest dinosaur museum, is pleased to announce the launch of a brand new Distance Learning program dedicated to high school physics students!

Have you ever wondered if the formulas and experiments taught in high school physics truly apply in the real world? Our palaeontologists say, "Absolutely!" What was the bite force of a T. rex? What sort of damage could an ankylosaur tail club inflict on another animal?

Join us for the answers to these questions and more, as the sciences of palaeontology and physics collide in "Applied Science in Palaeontology: Physics"!

Visit our website for more information on this exciting addition to our program suite! <http://www.tyrrellmuseum.com/programs/distance/applied_science_in_palaeontology_physics.htm>

---| Find Us on Facebook! |---
