Program Description This program: explores the culture of Arctic peoples, especially the Inuits; touches on some of the animals that live in the Arctic and their survival adaptations; includes dvd footage of The Toledo Zoo polar bears
Program Format 1. We will compare/contrast various aspects of Inuit/our culture.
2. We will watch a dvd of The Toledo Zoo polar bears.
3. We will play a "survival game".
Objectives Create a Venn Diagram comparing aspects of Inuit culture/our culture
View a dvd of The Toledo Zoo polar bears
Discuss some adaptations of polar bears
Participate in a "survival game"
