| Program Description | Students will observe effects drugs have on the body through the use of plastinated human organs and will experience an eye goggle demonstration that tricks the brain. A nervous system altered by alcohol, tobacco, methamphetamine and marijuana, can make even simple tasks difficult proving that being drug free is healthy. | |
| Program Format | 1.A short video shows neuron transmission across the synapse. 2.Alcohol is shown to affect the entire body – two plastinated real livers are shown to compare a healthy liver with a liver showing cirrhosis. 3.The nicotine in tobacco causes heart disease and cancer – actual lungs are shown to give maximum impact to the information given. 4.Marijuana deposits tar in the lungs and causes heat damage to lungs in the same manner as tobacco cigarettes. 5.Methamphetamine is made of many deadly chemicals and when used in by humans cause changes in the brain and mouth which forever changes the user’s life. Pictures show the reality of how meth affects the user. | |

| Program Fee Notes | For the UK, fee is 98 British Pounds. Please include a purchase order number when you submit a reservation. Bridging fees will be paid by the customer.
