Grades 4-7: Hands-On Weather Program


From the makers of the popular Gadget Works program COSI presents the
new Weather Watch program!

COSI has just launched Weather Watch, a brand new interactive weather video conference all about weather. During this conference, your students will work with COSI's newest Storm Spotter to learn how changes in air pressure and temperature can affect the weather. Students will take and use readings from barometers and thermometers to help them predict basic weather patterns. They will also explore air pressure using everyday objects and understand why changes in weather often occur around cold and warm fronts. All materials for pre- and post-visit activities are included in the kit.

- 3cc Syringes (Tube and Plunger ONLY)
- 60cc Syringes (Tube and Plunger ONLY)
- Suction Cups
- Pipettes
- Marshmallows
- Food Coloring
- Rubbermaid Containers



This program is geared towards students in grades 4 to 7. Each program
includes hands-on materials for 30 students that will be used during
the
60 minute show, and materials for many additional hours of in class
