Join the Botanical Research Institute of Texas this holiday season. This program combines Science, Social Studies and Art to teach the plant beginnings of three of December’s most beloved holidays, Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa. Students will enjoy a “Suess” style poem to learn the legends and botany of the plants that play an important role in these special occasions and create a unique greeting card along with the presenter. This does require some teacher preparation prior to the program.
