Cleveland Museum of Art's Season of Light

Looking for a holiday program? Our new special presentation Season of Light explores origins and rituals connected with Christmas, Hanukkah and Diwali, a festival of light celebrated among Hindus, Jains and Sikhs. These celebrations and commemorations fall late in the year and often make use of light. In the program students view and discuss illuminated manuscripts, Indian sculptures and other votive objects from The Cleveland Museum of Art as well as menorahs from the collection of Temple Tiffereth Israel. Sign up on The Cleveland Museum of Art’s section on CILC http://www.cilc.org/search/content-provider-program.aspx?id=2138 . There is still time to register!
