This program begins with descriptions of how sounds are produced and how humans hear these sounds. The different ways an object can vibrate is demonstrated using a Chladni Plate. The bulk of the time is devoted to demonstrations of unusual musical instruments like the Turkey Baster Flute and the Tool-a-balloon-a-phone. The program concludes with examples and instructions of how to make your own musical instruments from everyday items and includes time for question and answer.
