THURSDAY, December 4- Grades K-4 - Storytelling of two classic =stories by presenter, Theresa Meeker.
1) "Rudolph, the Red-nosed Reindeer"This is the classic Christmas tale of Rudolph the Red-Nosed, Santa's ninth and lead reindeer that was shunned by the other reindeer because of his red nose. Rudolph becomes a hero when he guides Santa's sleigh through a blinding blizzard, and Christmas morning is saved for boys and girls all over the world.
2) "The Little Drummer Boy"This story is based on a popular Christmas song, with words and music by =Katherine K. Davis in 1958. It is also known as the "Carol of the =Drum".The lyrics tell the story of a poor young boy who, unable to afford a =gift for the infant Jesus, plays his drum for the newborn with his =mother Mary's approval. The baby, although a newborn, seems to =understand and smiles at the boy in gratitude.
