Pre-K and K students will discover:•Their own “dinosaur” name announced by Mrs. Goose•What state Mrs. Goose is from and where she lives in relation to students from a map•Different types and facts about some dinosaurs•A story about dinosaurs•A graphing game to find out their favorite dinosaur•Actions to a fun song about dinosaurs•A nursery rhyme•Rhyming words
Format PreK-K1. The program begins with an introduction of Mrs. Goose, discussion of theme and Welcome song.2. Then there will be portion of a story.3. There will be a Question and Answer time about the story.4. Next will be poems/finger plays.5. Transportation graphing activity.6. A What's Missing Game.7. closing and Goodbye song.Format Grades 1-21.The program begins with an introduction of Mrs. Goose, discussion of the theme, and Welcome song. 2. There will be a portion of a story.3. There will be a question and answer time about the story.4. Theme songs and finger plays will be introduced and acted out.5. Mystery Rhyming words activity.6. What's Missing game.7. Closing summary and Good-bye song.
PreK-grade 2The participant will:-practice rhythm, rhyme, and repetition with poems and finger plays-be able to identify and make oral rhymes-practice phonological awareness skills-identify and discuss title, author, illustrator, and illustrations-practice making predictions-respond logically to questions before, during and after listening to text-recognize some letters and words in print-sequence events according to basic story structure-use knowledge of developmentally appropriate decoding skills when reading unknown words-practice mental representation skills

(If cancellation occurs due to weather, etc..., site will not be penalized to reschedule.)
We will not charge for programs canceled due to nature i.e. snow days. The full fee will be charged to sites which cancel with less than 24 hours notice.
