Student will be introduced to raptors. Student will learn the different types of raptors and how they live in the environment. Students will learn why raptors are important to the environment. Several “live” birds will make an appearance. The birds may include owls, hawks, and falcons.
1. Students will be asked what a raptor is.2. Presentation on different types of raptors.3. Presentation on the characteristics of raptors.4. Students will be asked why raptors are important to the environment.5. Students will be instructed on what to do if they find a wounded birds or animal.6. Several “live” raptors will be shown and discussed.7. Students will be able to ask questions.

During our busy season (April, May, and June) our fee for this program is $125.
We will not charge for programs cancelled due to nature i.e. snow days. The full fee will be charged to sites which cancel with less than 48 hours notice.
