The MVESC is offering a SPECIAL OCTOBER MATH LESSON titled: BOO-tiful Pumpkins! This will be offered from Tuesday October 14th- Thursday October 31st at the following times:
9:00am EST, 10:00am EST and 1:00pm EST. These will be multi-point connections, so if you have a class interested, please email or call to reserve your spot. Session description follows:
BOO-tiful Pumpkins! (Grades 1-3)
This interactive math session focuses on the Halloween tradition of jack-o-lanterns. By working collaboratively in groups, students will estimate and judge the reasonableness of their answers using various aspects of a pumpkin. The story, “The Ugly Pumpkin” will be shared for student enjoyment, and interactive games will solidify the concepts discussed! Don’t miss out on this entertaining yet educational event!
