Grades 6-12: Sealife Rescue


SEALIFE RESCUE

See what it takes to care for sick and injured sea animals, such as dolphins, whales, sea turtles and manatees. Visit Mote Marine Laboratory's Sealife Hospitals to observe actual case studies. Using a lively gameshow format, students will learn what it takes to rescue and rehabilitate various sealife. Students will even learn what they can do to help!

During this program, students will learn why sealife rescue is important, what marine animals Mote commonly rehabilitates, how they are cared for and released. They will also discover what they can do to help marine life.

Time required: Approximately 30 minutes

Grade Level: 6th – 12th grade

Cost: $100.00 USD program fee.
