The Israeli army is one of the most unique defense forces in the world. A citizens' army created to defend the people of the State of Israel, the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) has been repeatedly pressed into action, receiving great praise, and at times, severe criticism as it has discharged its mission of defense.
Your students will sit face to face with an Israeli soldier, learning of the history and organization of the IDF and its complex mission, and will have the opportunity to ask many questions during this 50-minute session.
