Program Description | There's more to bullying than meets the eye. Brad Tassell speaks to grades 3-4 through magic and music and fun to bring across greatlessons on how acting out, tattling, can also be a form of bullying. Plus,learning about how not to feed the bully, and how to detect and help others who are. WE also talk about how importants of school, reading, and teachers in their lives. | |
Program Format | 1. I always start with magic to illustrate that reading is the only magic. 2. WE do the name song to learn about paying attention how acting out is a form of bullying your class and teacher. 3. Introduce the book Don't Feed the Bully, make a clear definition of bullying and why its hurting kids. We define What it means to NOT FEED THE BULLY. Plus, how to be active in helping others. 4. We talk about the actions that can help any students move the bully target away from them. 5. We sing the I love school song, and learn how the most important place and people in their lives are right in the school. 6. Take questions and reinterate points. | |
