The Israeli army is one of the most unique defense forces in the world. A citizens' army created to defend the people of the State of Israel, the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) has been repeatedly pressed into action, receiving great praise, and at times, severe criticism as it has discharged its mission of defense.

Your students will sit face to face with an Israeli soldier, learning of the history and organization of the IDF and its complex mission, and will have the opportunity to ask many questions during this 50-minute session.

Students will be virtually introduced to an easy to build water recycling system in Alaska's only bioshelter, so that they will better understand the cosmic task of bacteria and enzymes: recycling water. Students will be inspired to learn more about how they can take action in making the planet a better place to live using recycled grey water and a rain catchment system.

Bobby adapted both Anne Frank and Edgar Allan Poe for the Center’s puppet productions geared towards middle & high school audiences. Bobby’s experience as a writer, adapter, producer, director, and puppetry artist offer a unique look at the adaptations of both of these topics. Targeted curriculum includes language arts, drama, and visual arts. NETS standards (national tech standards) are also met through the delivery method of videoconferencing.
